Hey, guys, I thought I should update the channel profile to answer a few FAQs, so here we go! Q. Are you any of the following: Aaron Rift/Wade Needham/Bobby Spade? A. No, I am just a huge fan of the work of those gentlemen on this great show. However, Wade is a member of CAW Underground and Aaron and Wade can both be spotted on NoDQForums, so if you have any questions for them I'm sure they'll be polite enough to answer them (but just don't ask when/if NoDQ CAW is coming back, Aaron must get asked that all the time!). Q. Is NoDQ CAW ever coming back? A. That's something only Aaron knows the answer to. I believe the original plan was to move NoDQ CAW to the Wii wrestling game but, since Wii owners were "granted" a terrible version of SmackDown! v Raw 2008 rather than, as all GameCube WWE game fans would have liked, Day of Reckoning 3, the terrible gameplay of the Wii version and the restrictive CAW mode of the whole SD!vR series have factored against a NoDQ CAW return. Q. Couldn't Aaron bring back the league using a PS2/PS3/Xbox 360? A. Possibly, but I don't even know if he has those consoles. And there'd still be the problem of the restrictive CAW mode. I would strongly believe alternatives to the WWE games are well and truly out of the question...but never say never. Aaron is a huge TNA fan, after all... ;) Q. Might the league return on Day of Reckoning/DoR 2? A. Again, possibly, but you have to bear in mind that Aaron has basically done every single thing a CAW league could feasibly do in Day of Reckoning so there's very little to be gained from bringing the league back on that. As for DoR2, I don't know why Aaron never officially made the move, but I suspect the logo glitch has something to do with it. However, at the end of the 2007 CAW Cup Final, Wade refers to the match as the "end of the DoR era" of NoDQ CAW, so if it comes back it likely won't be on DoR or DoR2. Q. What is your favourite match? A. I don't really have one, but my favourite mega event is probably Season 5's Domestic Disturbance. Season 1's Impact is also a favourite of mine. Q. Could you send the matches to me on a DVD? A. There are one or two reasons that prevent me from doing this, but fear not! You can download all the NoDQ CAW matches I have as well as the matches of some other truly amazing (and, sometimes, groundbreaking) CAW leagues from the CAW Vault- the link is below in my Website field! Q. What are your opinions on [Name of CAW League]? A. I'm almost embarassed to say I don't watch nearly as much CAW as I should, given I'm an admin on CAW Underground. CXA is very good, EWE is excellent and DWL has always been highly entertaining. Those three are probably my favourites after NoDQ CAW and I urge you all to check them out. Q. What kind of CAW league is your favourite? Fantasy, reality or originals? A. I have to admit I'm not especially keen on exclusively reality-based leagues (ie, ones that use actual wrestlers and nobody else). They work well as "What if...?" sort of premises, fulfilling dream matches but it's not my personal cup of tea. Original leagues can be excellent, assuming the characters are well designed. We don't need another floppy-haired emo with tattooes in CAW, that's for sure. Fantasy leagues are my favourites, thanks to NoDQ CAW doing it so well. Q. Why didn't you reply to my comment? A. I get so many comments on these videos that I've had to turn notification emails off. I can't always check when people leave comments on older videos. I generally check and re-check newer ones quite frequently, but I might not answer your question if the answer can be found just by watching the video, etc. Q. Why is [New Video] unavailable? A. When you upload lots of videos at once, YouTube has to process a lot of things and it takes time to do that. Just be patient, the videos will be online and working in due course. If an older video is unavailable, let me know. Q. How many seasons of NoDQ CAW are there? Are you sure it's nine and not eight? A. Now, this is a controversial one but it's one I stand by. Splitting NoDQ Action into two seasons may seem like an odd move, but my reasoning is this: on NoDQ Action episode 13, Wade states it is the start of a new season. As there is no other indicator for or against this claim, it can be assumed that NoDQ Action makes up two seasons. Some would feel the 2007 CAW Cup is part of Season 8 but, for my liking, the gap between seasons was large enough for it to be considered a new season (plus, Wade returns in Season 9!). Q. Precisely which matches and other items are you missing? A. The videos I'm missing are all listed at the CAW Vault website, linked to below.
