I started the piano lessons on April of 2003. I have ended the piano Information about my piano stuff: lessons with my teacher at about the beginning of 2004. I have been self-studying up to date. I started improvising just this year (5 months ago). Since I didn't have much skill and technique at the piano, my improvising was affected by it. Currently, I learn from Kyle Landry (Kyle556) regarding different techniques that can be used in improvising, and as well as the Classical pieces that I'm playing. I have had a horrible keyboard with bad piano action for about 3 and a half years now. Since we moved to Canada, I thought that it would be a good idea to get a new digital piano, mainly the Roland HP-207 (which I do own now). I have also used a 61-key keyboard at my first half of my first year on piano lessons (and also before piano lessons). Before I had piano lessons, the only way to learn pieces was with the LCD screen from the 61-key piano. I imitated the keyboard that was located on the screen and memorized it until it can be performed smoothly. I still recall many sleepless nights just trying to learn Beethoven's Piano Sonata No.8 Op.13 2nd movement. -October 12, 2007
