After the midair collison of a GA airplane and the Mexican airliner coming into LAX, the FAA did the usual beauracratic knee-jerk reaction of banning the shoreline transition so desperatly needed by banner tow pilots to pass by LAX. The reasons they gave were so aburd as beyond any intelligence...
