Books: people should learn how to live life to the fullest and the best way to do that is not found in partys, drinking, drugs, or even as you are told so often religion. true happieness is found in the truth. you see i had read this these two books, enders game and speaker for the dead, and im working on the thrid in the series, xenocide, and one of the main themes of these books is to tell the truth no matter how much it hurts. now i know you are all thinking that im somekind of super smart person who reads books all the time. well here is the truth, im not infact im a normal everyday person like you, or i used to be before i found true happiness, i didnt get into any book ever untill this year at school when we had to read ender's game for english class. after reading this book i liked it so i got the 2nd one. the 2nd one is not as teenager oriented as the first but it is what changed my life. in this book they have a figure in society that is called the speaker for the dead and what he does is goes and learns as much as the can about the person they speak about who is dead. after finding out the information they tell the whole TRUE story about this person's life. they dont glorify things like saying "and he was a ritchious man for going to church" nore do they put a suger coating on the bad things like "he was a murderer but he did only kill evil people so he wasnt all that bad" they simply tell the truth like "he went to the cathlic church on sundays but during the week he murdered people. these people were mostly seen as evil in society." so in reading this book i started to think what would happen if we took the saying "you dont think before you speak" and actually did that. think about if you dont think before you speak then you are telling nothing but the truth of what you think. this is how i started then i thought but wait what if i never lied about anything ever, or atleast i try, then i came up with this saying "telling the truth is like cleaning out a open wound, at first it burns and hurts but it heals faster, lying is like just puting a band-aid over it hiding it from everyone but it gets infected and never goes away." so ever sense i had time to think about this i came to find this being true. so now i tell the truth as much as i can and ever sense i had i fell like im getting literally high off life. i have never felt so happy ever becouse never lie to anyone i just blurt out what i first think and what i trully think adn yes at first i might regret it slightly but in the long run it is better for people to trully know what im thinking about them. this is a great stress redusing technique also. try it out i want some feed back just live life never telling a life for a month and tell me what you think and if that does not work try alittle longer but if it does not work after 3 months you either are not doing it right or this is not the method for you.
