However, the HP meters roll when you take or heal damage, so if a character sustains mortal damage you an act fast and feed them or cast a healing ability to save them before the ticker reaches 0. This returns in "Mother 3" but the original "Mother" did not have this feature.

There will never be a better time than the first time you play. The first time you play it, the experience is profound. I too shall spread the word of Earthbound XD

Dec 3, 2008 - I miss my Mother... Come on NoA! I've recently re-played LoZ: Wind waker, and I realized how much AWESOME an EarthBound/Mother3 remake in cell-shading would be! Seriously, Mother on the wii, in 3d and with maybe some extra secrets would be THE ultimate videogaming experience! I would buy it 5 times at least!!
