Jan 12, 2008 - I will stand. We are to contend for the faith. God has put women in a beautiful and honourable role in ministry. Women can teach other women and children. The bible is clear on it. You cannot justify one being a Bishop or Pastor etc because they are one in the same. People always say well thats what Paaauuul wrote. Jan 13, 2008 - There are MANY women who are more "talented" at public speaking than many men. However, talent has nothing to do with being "gifted" or "chosen" to preach. If one reads scripture as it is written, without twisting and/or sugar coating truth until it says what the flesh wants it to say, it is clear: WOMEN ARE NOT CALLED TO BE PASTORS! Mar 22, 2008 - Women are called to preach the gospel...Mat 28:19 They are not called to teach men or have authority over men in church. 2 Tim2:12-15 They ARE called to teach other women and children 1 Tim 5. (something they have grace from God to do.) Women have the chance to impact society for Christ "from the bottom up." But Satan has tempted women with the very thing God has prohibited (1Tim2)..... May 7, 2008 - My sister here please get into the divine will of God and not the permissive will. When one is in the permissive will of God they get confused and in danger with the Lord! When you are in the divine will of God you line up to what the Word says. First, prophesying is not preaching. In the last days men and women will prophesy, but everyone will not preach. Preaching is a calling and prophesying is a Gift. Many people get calling and gifts mixed up. Thats why need preacher. LOL!!
