Feb 2, 2008 - Lol, Mine isn't modded. The only thing I did was stick some metal fender washers, rubber hose o-rings, and a spring in the shroud. It eliminates about 60% of the original noise. About the power source. If you're asking wether I normally use air or CO2, I use air from an 80 cubic foot SCUBA tank. I normally use a power setting of 4 because it doesn't waste much air, and it's all the power I need when I'm not hunting or shooting animals. Apr 21, 2008 - How quiet were you able to make it? In relative terms, compare it to a daisy 880, or a crossman 760? I shoot an rws350 and the thing is as loud as a .22 short, easily. Im looking for something a bit mroe stealthy, that can rid my property of pests.

Apr 22, 2008 - I can really only compare it to a Crosman 2100B. It is as loud as the Crosman with about 7 pumps. It's pretty quiet for a PCP.

Sep 24, 2008 - We just did a chrono on a Talon SS...some how it did register 760-775 fps with JSB Exacts in the lowest setting..but when cranking up the hammer spring tension to the highest and remeasure..we saw no change in velocity but more noise. This is through the Oehler 3 screen Chrono so is pretty accurate. Just wanted to give you that info.

Sep 27, 2008 - Hmm. Thats strange. Mine doesn't do that. Maybe check another chrony? Check to see if the power wheel is connected to the gun or however that works.
