Utilizing found DV footage exported at a larger size with an HD codec, an artifacting effect occurs. The effect is exacerbated by hand manipulation during playback in another software, which enhances the effect, giving it an almost watercolor sheen. The footage is then exported back into the editing application where the already existing score is remixed to match the breaks, pops and artifaction of the overall piece for continuity. The result is a meditative, melodic interruption meant to simultaneously lull and tax the viewer.
