Oct 6, 2008 - Nope, DX10 has nothing to do with it. Like that said for Crysis Warhead, ''If you have a high end system capable of playing the game on max, why restrict it?''. Very High mode has nothing to do with Vista or with DX10, it has just been made DX10 only to push Vista as an OS.

Oct 6, 2008 - oh but it is, i gained 1k in 3dm06 from just300mhz, and resolutions around 1280x1024 its a HUGE diff, a q66 @ 2.4ghz gets around 12fps less than one at 3ghz, and about 19less than on at 3.6ghz.... on 1680x1050 you get like a 5-6fps gain from 2.4 to 3.6ghz (im talking about crysis, now you need to take your avg fps and divide it by the gain, and thats the % gain) not to mention its even better when u start to talk about sli and tri sli, or any form of crossfire

Nov 17, 2008 - Really nice fps, I haven´t tried the benchmark (have the same graphics card) but I have Vista so I probably won´t even get close to this. Because when I´m playing I don´t have fps above 30 so much :P.
