Jan 13, 2008 - Captain Wentworth is hot! I like the Anne in the other adaptation, though.

Jan 18, 2008 - The other adaption is more true to the novel, except I feel the characters are too old. This adaption strays from the book somewhat but I certainly prefer the actors.

Jan 20, 2008 - I like at 7:45 when he does not go on with the others but instead stops to stand next to her on the beach as if he has something to say.

Jan 21, 2008 - wentworth's so mean!!! he didn't even pause once when she fell. am liking his character less and less

hiswhitesky Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - what do you mean?? Wentworth was the first one there to help Anne.

chebsheb Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - i never realized that wentworth was the first one to suggest that anne ride back with his parents. so sweet :) i love how he just picks her up

captaineothan Says:

Jan 26, 2008 - the Crofts aren't Wentworth's parents, Mrs. Croft is Wentworth's sister. And, he wanted Anne to ride back with them so that he could flirt with Louisa.

captaineothan Says:

Jan 26, 2008 - Yes he did, he was the one who helped her up.

chebsheb Says:

Jan 26, 2008 - right, i'm sorry. i was just thinking relatives. his sister just looks so much older than him. sorry, my mistake!

yearningarrow Says:

Jan 28, 2008 - sorry, my mistake. :)

hwtsa Says:

Jan 28, 2008 - He did not want Anna to ride back with them so the he could flirt with Louisa. If you read the book you will see that it is because he is the only one that can read her and knows that she could not walk any more but that she would not admit it because she always puts others first.

Jacobitess Says:

Jan 31, 2008 - Louisa would never have made that snitty remark about Anne. Why do these screenwriters have to insert such nonsense into Austen's exquisite and insightful prose?

eric55chile Says:

Feb 1, 2008 - Come on people, this is FICTION! Enjoy it, but get on with real life!

earthrabbits Says:

Feb 3, 2008 - omg, when he picks her up is my favorite part i think. =] its so cute =]]

SelenaMulan Says:

Feb 3, 2008 - I never realized it; but theres sort of a relief in the look Wentworth gives; when Lousia says that Anne really did not accept Charles' proposal. You can tell he still loved; even though he tried to hide it!

xmenlover92 Says:

Feb 5, 2008 - Poor Wentworth...At 7:45 he seemed like he was close to talking with Anne until Harville showed up. Poor guy, if only Anne knew that he still loves her.
