Jan 18, 2008 - yep the prosperity/modern christianity doesnt work in the majority of the world (who is poor). instead of surrendering ALL these preachers are collecting ALL. Woe to them & those who follow.

nodrahma Says:

Jan 18, 2008 - ME TOO!!! It hurts me to see them smile and watch as thousands upon thosands are captivated by heresy.

yeshua4U Says:

Jan 18, 2008 - IF....monetary success indicates God's blessing, then we can only deduce that His favour is resting on the Hell's Angels, the Mafia and pornographers. Thank you for your voice against the lie.

LordShadrach Says:

Jan 18, 2008 - When Jesus did his earthly ministry, he had no money or power (political power), yet is message travelled very far and won many converts.

VeiledGlory Says:

Jan 18, 2008 - This was the perfect video to watch as we head into the Lent season! Thank you for creating it.

BibbleMcWibble Says:

Jan 19, 2008 - Did you know that a number of these prosperity-gospel preachers are allergic to having anvils dropped on their heads? It's true. If you don't believe me, drop an anvil on Benny Hinn's head. Do it now, please.

carol3499 Says:

Jan 19, 2008 - yes. and sad still is the fact that these power/money gluttons say that they are following Christ. May God have mercy on them on Judgement Day.

BSwitzerland Says:

Jan 19, 2008 - I dont think Pat Robertson is a prosperity teacher! Unlimited favor can be spiritual be too. I never understood it as materialistic favours and a new beginning in faith

johnorigen Says:

Jan 19, 2008 - It is funny I was just reading a book where that word was used and had to look it up. Now I'll never forget it.

SKYSPLASH Says:

Jan 20, 2008 - Tithing is a Doctrine of Demons. Preaching that Godliness is a Means of Financial Gain is of the Devil. Taking an Old Covenant Law and Mixing it with the New Covenant is Making Gods Grace Null and Void.

johnorigen Says:

Jan 20, 2008 - I am under the impression the Devil gets to much credit for the sin nature of man

johnorigen Says:

Jan 20, 2008 - really

BSwitzerland Says:

Jan 20, 2008 - Sorry but I dont agree that tithing is a doctrine of demons! Its a part of giving back to the kingdom of God. NT does not replace OT but confirms it!!!

karatechick159 Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - This is so sad. It makes me so angry that people around the world are starving and some people here freak out if the car they wanted isnt the right color!!!!

johnorigen Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - If you want to tithe then do it. If you make giving, time or money, into a formula to move God to bless you then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Why not give 2o% and get extra brownie points. If you look at the whole law they gave a lot more than 10%.

grammasusan Says:

Jan 21, 2008 - Jesus told the rich young ruler to give away all he had and follow Him(Jesus). If that caveat was part of the prosperity teaching very few would complain. Even the poor in the US have more than the wealthy in many countries. If we used our abundance to feed the poor and clothe the naked we could touch the world for Him.

leiapeison Says:

Jan 25, 2008 - amen. we are to be rich toward god instead of trying to gain material wealth.

illbehonest Says:

Feb 8, 2008 - awesome video, thanks for linking me. Praise God

heartyfeast Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - The Bible says that in heaven the last on earth shall be the first in heaven, and vice-versa. I wonder what Hagee and Osteen and Copeland et. al. will do in Heaven (if they get there) and they have to take a back seat FOR ETERNITY to one of these precious starving children? A lot of good Copeland's 25 million dollar jet will do him then! Alot of good Hagee's fat gut will do him then! Alot of good Osteens smug smile will do him then! Thank you so much for posting this!

johnorigen Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - You have to be careful not to personally insult these people nor thier follows. I understand your frustration but try to remember not to personalize your frustrations on the individual but on the argument.

hoggdawn Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - johnorigen---you're probably right in your response to "heartyfeast". As for me? I just want to haul off and kick there butts from here to next week. And thats not good---I understand. In the TV age is is impossible not to personalize frustrations, for their personalities loom so very, very large.

johnorigen Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - Don't get me wrong I get very frustrated. But this is where we have to undrestand Jesus truly will judge them personally. I am taught to present the truth in love and humility and I will say it is not easy sometimes. I have yelled at the TV myself sometimes.

CBALLEN Says:

Apr 19, 2008 - Let us lay up our treasures in Heaven, those that can't decay or rust and rot away.Jesus didn't come to make us rich here on Earth,He came so we who were dead could live.

bororean Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Why would you post a attack of the prosperity gospel as a response to MacArthur's attack on the Purpose Driven Life?

johnorigen Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - I do not cosider it an attack only a confirmation of what MacArthur is saying. I had no idea a vedio responce was atomatically taken as a negative response.
