Several things to mention... First off, the TTFAF score, prior to my (finally!) successful, real 5* run, was insanely short of the 5*. To give you a clue how close it was, the 5* cutoff requires a 2.8 average multiplier. That score's multiplier was a 2.797. Yeah. I was thrilled. My intro, tapping method is that of KingofTerror's. I would play normally (just HOPOs) until the second yellow note. At that point, I resume play with tapping. My left index finger is planted on the pedal point and using my left middle finger to hit the red. Yellow (right index), Blue (right middle) and Orange (right ring) notes are tapped. You may notice I keep cutting off sustain notes, which the fault of my Les Paul. Any sustains that include an Orange note seem to cut off at random times, which can really piss me off when I need to whammy extra SP off of sustains. I may need to deal with it later. =/ Anywho, I nailed some difficult parts and went retardo on easy parts, so it's a typical run. This isn't my high score, however. I'm sitting at 612k on XBL, but without the risk of failure, I'm not really counting that. If you're curious, Hyperspeed 2. Jan 7, 2008 - Well, simply put, I have no idea when I'll nail SP passages, so I use them whenever I think I can keep a combo. Granted, I broke the combo and should have saved it for the later half of the section (didn't know I was going to keep a combo there, either), but worked out. As for activating it for Synth Death, I had a full bar of SP. Getting the SP in SD would have felt like a waste.
