How to: Start 'The Covenant' at rally point alpha (or at start if you really want to). Fly the Hornet to the rock seen in the video and get out. Now try and get the attention of one of the banshees (you must be very quick in this). Don't shoot them or they'll leave. Once one is close enough and tries to pull up and make another round, jump up and press LB like a maniac in the hope you get in the Banshee. If it works well, congrats. If you failed, you have to try over and over. I can tell you, you only get one chance every try. It's pretty fun to do but the Banshee really sucks compared to the Hornet, you get killed really fast and you can't hang still in the air like in Halo 1.

Mar 22, 2008 - I managed to grab a Banshee twice in The Covenant, It's really hard to use on Legendary as it takes ages to take out the Phantom and doesnt have the punch to take on the Scarabs effectively.

Apr 13, 2008 - It depends on what kind of weapons are on the map. If there are no Spartans, missile pods, etc, then i'd for sure take the Hornet. But if there are, the banshee is better because you can dodge enemy weapons. And in a battle between a banshee and a hornet, the banshee doesn't stand a chance.

Apr 15, 2008 - the hornet is sluggish..but I don't think it is sluggish enough to not be able to kill a banshee at close range. any chance a banshee has against a hornet is at close range because of speed. Unless you know how to manuever a banshee so well that you your aim is on spot while you flip up and down....banshees suck.
