Jan 23, 2008 - Moscow is the most expensive city in the world. Of course it is going to be a fortune to go there. But everywhere outside of Moscow is way cheaper and the the average salary is like $200 dollars an hour. So if you go anywhere outside of Moscow you can have a hell of a good time.

However, the real issue for most travelers will be visa and accommodation costs ... and to miss out on Moscow for these reasons is truly a shame. Moscow is a fantastically interesting city and should not be missed by anyone who considers himself / herself a world traveler.
