The U.S. Army Combat Uniform's (ACU) ACUPAT camouflage pattern doesn't work in dry desert regions and is contributing to our men being targeted by the enemy and being killed and maimed. LineDoggie writes: "ACU pattern sucks balls anyway. When the first Brigade (48th)wearing them showed up in Baghdad, we could spot them dismounted at Approx. 800M further away than those wearing DCU's." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wicYZB3QIg Soldiers and units can and should fix this problem immediately by buying their own Multi-Cam camouflage pattern ACUs and the necessary velcro patches for their tours in Iraq/Afghanistan: Multi-Cam Works: http://www.multicampattern.com/IMAGES.htm http://www.geocities.com/paratroop2000/surviveiraqgearlist.htm or: http://www.combatreform.com/surviveiraqgearlist.htm PROFESSIONALS buy their own gear if needed to do their PROFESSION well; its time EVERY U.S. Army Soldier become and start acting like a PRO regardless of what the bureaucracy "seems" to want. What are they going to do? Send you to Iraq? Time to start acting like the U.S. Army belongs to the Soldiers in it and the American people; BECAUSE IT DOES---not the little ego club of 3-star generals who racketeer the Army's actions for their own personal benefit and the nation's national security ruin. P.S.: we didn't mention the USMC in this description because its thoroughly permeated by malignant narcissism on top of being an immoral and incompetent bureaucracy--and should be abolished at once. Google "Growler", V-22", "EFV", "MRAP", Haditha" if you need some on-going reminders of USMC evil. http://www.combatreform.com/marinesrefusetoarmor.htm The U.S. Army FCS Program (bureaucracy) uses Multi-Cam--so the brass know it works and want to implement it, why wait? http://www.combatreform.com/multicamFCSminirobotleft.jpg http://www.combatreform.com/multicamFCSminirobotright.jpg http://www.combatreform.com/multicamsoldiersflyMINIUAV.jpg

Aug 9, 2008 - CAN YOU ACTUALLY REALLY WEAR THAT AS UNIFORM??? in the US armed forces??? is this allowed..
dynmicpara Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - YES. U.S. Army units are wearing multi-cam ACUs in combat NOW. What are they going to do to you? Send you to Iraq/Afghanistan? There comes a time when one has to do what it takes to WIN and fuck regulations written by fucktards incompetents. I want to be totally clear about this. BULLSHIT in any human organization has to be OPENLY RESISTED and condemned and if careeers suffer that's too damn bad, the whole point of being a pro; TO CREATE EXCELLENCE. You can't do that yes-manning BS.

Aug 10, 2008 - thanks... but in germany for example they prohibit anything thats not allowed by the armed forces HQ... so here just issued and bought from the military supply is allowed... and there are no different camotypes available... so i wondered...
larsanien Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - thanks... you posted your reply three times... and i wondered because in germany you are not allowed to wear anything thats not allow by the armed forces HQ... so issued or bought by the military supply... keep your work up.. i love watching your vids...

Aug 10, 2008 - I posted my reply 3x because its a matter of life and death. NO HUMAN ORGANIZATION HAS THE RIGHT TO ORDER ANYONE TO THEIR DEATHS when it has divorced itself from reality. When an outfit stops basing its actions on FACTS and REALITY then all bets are off and its time for the pros to act on their solemn oath to WE THE PEOPLE and put the good of the service before their egocareers and condemn the BS and get rid of it.

Sep 14, 2008 - In the german army you are allowed to wear anything that fits by color and look with the regular uniform/gear. so u can buy olive or flecktarn gear and use it and make life easier in the field expect ur captain forbids it for your unit Kein Plan in welcher ZDv das jez nochma stand aber bei uns durfte man Kampfmittelwesten, private Stiefel, Handschuhe, Schals, Wollmützen etc benutzen

Sep 17, 2008 - i wish th Marine Corps had that kind of camo. It looks pretty cool. But then again; the desert-tan Marine uniforms are more effective than the Army's Grey.
kong8765 Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - you cant see Marine when we're in our MarPats. i think the secretary of the Army needs to get a better idea for men patrolling the streets of Ramadi. i did 2 tours over there (2004-2005 and 2006-2007) and idk if it was lack of training or what, but if we were in contact, the grunts of the Army were always the first to get hit. and when they went prone, the ACUs got stained with dirt and u couldnt remove it.
dynmicpara Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - Army dismounted TTP is superior to USMC clusterfucking (message me and I'll elaborate); however BAD CAMOUFLAGE will negate even the best movement techniques and ACUPAT ACUs is very bad daylight visual camouflage, thanks for writing in your honest observations, maybe more Soldiers and Unit Commanders will "grow a pair" and start wearing Multi-Cam ACUs as some already do...
dynmicpara Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - I'm the commander and I authorize my men to wear Multi-Cam ACUs.
dynmicpara Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - For the U.S. Army, of course.
dynmicpara Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - I'm still un-assassinated.

Sep 22, 2008 - I got a Desert MARPAT and ACU camos, looks like I'm buying another pair of camos to wear, though that Multi-Cam is surprisingly effective.

Sep 30, 2008 - I hope we (us army) goes to the multicam

Oct 4, 2008 - I am all for the multi-cam ACU 100% You guys need both - Why not - the Marines have 2 types!!! - Multi-cam ACU rock!!!! Dude.
GnosticDjinn Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - I really wasn't going to buy it until I watched a lot of videos and looked over a lot of photos. Shit is good.
GnosticDjinn Says:
Oct 18, 2008 - It's amazing how poorly understood camouflage and it's effects are. The next step (if you read about how the brain processes information) would be to tier the levels of light and dark. The brain assumes light comes from above, even when you're upside down the brain will still orientate this for you. They need to design this cam to confuse the light distribution angles. I do it to my ghillie get ups, and I feel it helps in many situations.
TatsuOyama Says:
Oct 25, 2008 - I have used this stuff in many environments. The only places it sticks out are "main black" or "black rock" environments. I have personally used it in jungles, woodlands, desert/scrubland, beachheads and a 2 urban settings with fantastic results. You know the shit is good when all you have to do is halt and kneel and they have to really search to make you out. The key to MC is wash it and when you get there dress it out with local soil. Yup...rub dirt on it. You want great kit? Buy this.
DanVielwerth Says:
Nov 14, 2008 - Where did you get the MC nametapes from? I heard that for TRU-SPEC ACUs you need a 5inch tape instead of a 6inch, and that 1800nametape do such a tape. Also, is that MC ACU in your vid 65/35 poly/cotton or 50/50 poly/cotton?
