http://www.myspace.com/dreidmusicalx This is my new song I made tonight! Its becoming very quick to get these out all of a sudden? Hope you all enjoy it! This was done on the fly with the DL4 Delay Modeler Pedal. There is No! Backgroung rhythms here. Im playing it all at this moment using the pedal as it cuts in and out of the leads. I leave the pedal looping the rhythm I was recently playing at that time. Cool effect this pedal has in it. And the search link they have for this song of mine? Who would put Break"N" Away under Breakaway from Kelly Clarkson? Do I really look and play like Kelly Clarkson? Jeezee! I hope not! Recorded In Athens Texas c 2008

Jan 6, 2008 - Thanks Chris, You have some great music also! The type player Ive been looking for in a Band someday? But they seem to be hard to find these days to me... But I just had to sub you...

Jan 9, 2008 - Sweet! I hear a litle Aerosmith influence and maybe some Alice in Chains. Awesome solo.
DreidMusicalX Says:
Jan 9, 2008 - Thanks, Yes you hear a little of them and Ted Nugent a bit. At least that what it reminded me of... I just wanted something a bit more raw sounding thats not to distorted, But more chorus, delay,& reverbed effects. Im messing around with my POD XT, and there has been some wild tones that carry the sound well.

Jan 17, 2008 - Cool. Kind of like Buffalo Springfield or one of those guys. Alice in Chains too!
DreidMusicalX Says:
Jan 18, 2008 - Thanks, I never heard of Buffalo Springfield, But I do love AIC!
NapoleonRage Says:
Jan 18, 2008 - Neil Young and Stephen Stills were in Buffalo Springfield. The leads kind of reminded me of something from that genre.
DreidMusicalX Says:
Jan 19, 2008 - I just make stuff up? lol! I dont mean it to sound like other peoples stuff... But I guess it all sounds like someone in a way? Ah? I do know who Neil Young is though when I think about it now.

Feb 25, 2008 - Hah, Crate stack. That what you're comin through, cause I like Crate's sound, but not that particular sound so much. But you play well. Really nice round. I like it BEN
DreidMusicalX Says:
Feb 25, 2008 - No these are not my stack your hearing here. And this is the shitty sound of my camcorder. I running out of a Line 6 Flextone IIIXL Combo Amp that to the right side of me in my trailer. They would throw me out if I played loud through those here. I wanted a kinda raspy sound for the main part without so much distortion. I dont know if you know about Line 6 stuff? But you can create your own Tones. My newer songs are all going to be recorded then put to video now I know how to do it.
DreidMusicalX Says:
Feb 25, 2008 - This doesnt sound as bad live as it does in this video here. Thats why Im never critical about peoples recording with cameras, I know nothing sounds the way it really does normally? The chorus always seems to get messed up with this cameras mic. Unless you have a real expensive one I guess it could sound better this way? I just do my best with what I have?
tytyyytyty Says:
Feb 25, 2008 - Yeah, I think I know what you're talking about. My little Crate has a knob in the distortion channel labeled "shape" To either side it gives a more heavy metal sound and up has a bluesy sound kinda like that.

Feb 26, 2008 - love the beat..:)
DreidMusicalX Says:
Feb 26, 2008 - Thanks! This is one I did where I dont need a second guitar player to do it live. I used the same simple rhythm in the begining on a DL4 Delay pedal with a Looping mode it has a option to use in it up to 28 sec. You can just push a button and it stops it at will. And bring it right back in when you need it again for the lead parts. Thanks for commenting. Dave

Jul 12, 2008 - I loved it, I instantly wanted to start banging on my desk and keyboard and try to make a replicate sound of a drum and cymbal playing beats for this song. I could come up with a 100 different styles of lyrics for this song and sing them good too or scream them, which is my favorite.
DreidMusicalX Says:
Jul 12, 2008 - Thanks bro! Ya your right, theres so many things that can be done with this song. Ive played it live a few times messing around with it solo, and people seems to like it just because the rhythm part alone. It gets people shaken all over the place! haha! Ive been looking for people who can put what ever to some of my stuff for along time. Every time I get with a band they only play one type of music? Mostly Metallicas stuff. I ask them ho far to you plan on getting playing someone elses stuff?
DreidMusicalX Says:
Jul 12, 2008 - Ive been with good bands that play well for what they know. I try to tell them you cant always play things like Metallica in these clubs. Only about 5% of clubs let you play what you want. Doing that you will starve! Plus youll only be know for someone elses music? I like change in music and things to be a bit different from one song to another with changes in the styles. I guess its why I play live with allot of different bands now? Who ever lets me get up and play with them? lol!
