An embarrassing loss in the women's final challenge, The Eliminator, where one girl, Koya, can't get up the final treadmill incline to save her life, just falling down again and again on it while holding onto the rope. Hilarious...some audio includes my friends and I rewatching (and laughing) the huge comeback of Venus on dvr. Owned by a treadmill. Some think it's fake or rigged, I just think it's pretty entertaining and funny :-p

May 6, 2008 - its DEFINITELY better having the travelator at the end of the eliminator. i've always watched the UK version, so maybe my opinion is biased, but think about it; at the beginning, both people will make it without any trouble and whatever is at the end will be done easily. this means that in almost every case (except maybe some small exceptions) the person with the headstart will win. having it at the end means that someone might slip due to fatigue and it makes the game more exciting.

May 24, 2008 - While with the men that was pretty much true, on several episodes one of the women could not get up the treadmill at the beginning. Fewer came from behind and the person who reached the walls first almost always won. However, sometimes, the leader fell off the log or the hand bike, allowing his/her opponent to catch up.

May 25, 2008 - the girls dont have a hand-bike though do they? and i guess that is true, but more people are going to fall at the travelator, rather than a slip on the hand bike or whatever. i dunno, to me the travelator just seemed like that sort of 'final test'.

May 26, 2008 - Yes, girls in America had a hand bike. Watch a women's eliminator from any season other than season 1 (no hand bike for either gender, otherwise simpler eliminator). Falling off the hand bike did not cost too many contenders, but the log caused the loss of a lead countless times for both genders. The log in the US was much harder to cross than the one in the UK apparently.

Aug 12, 2008 - i dont really like teh american gladiators, just the old uk series and the new austrailian and uk series are alright , but i guess americans like it because its made in an american fashion. the new uk version should have recreated their version completely seperately of the us one as it was the most successful series out of all the countries originlly.
