Jan 9, 2008 - #1, congratulation on giving it a go. I wish you all of the success in beating the addiction. Please use my videos as support and encouragement. I have a whole log. #2 Tell your wife that this "hot chick" is a 40 year old woman. No hot chick here. I did this video at the end of a VERY LONG day. If she thinks I look too good, that's not my problem. To Be Continued....

Jan 9, 2008 - #3 The whole point of my (way too long to get to the point) video was to say that you CAN'T have a drag at all! At least I can't. Because I will become a full time smoker again. I didn't think my smoke after 2 years of not smoking was awful at all. I thought it was fabulous! I LOVED IT! That's the point. Smoking is great! I love it! BUT I HATE IT MORE THAN I LOVE IT. See? LOL!

Jan 9, 2008 - Well, as they say, you're only a puff away from being a smoker again. I know for me at least, If I were to have just one drag that would be it. straight back to square 1, do not pass go, do not collect $200 etc etc =/

Jan 9, 2008 - You said it!

Jan 9, 2008 - There were very few smokier in the civilized world up until recent times. Tobacco was introduced to England in 1564 by Sir John Hawkins. It was known as "Softweed". In 1672 King James I of England publishes a report denouncing the use of tobacco. In 1629 the first No Smoking signs were being put up in some government buildings in England.

Jan 9, 2008 - Super interesting stuff Liquid!!! What is your reference? I'd love to know more!
Liquidsound Says:
Jan 9, 2008 - If you were walking in the wilderness and found a tobacco plant, dried it out and smoked it, it would still contain "Tar", it would still contain many of the cancer causing chemicals that destroy people's health and it would still be addictive. "American Spirit" cigarettes which contain no additives still cause cancer. It's the nature of the plant that causes the harm and not so much the tobacco companies.

Jan 9, 2008 - Tell me more...
Liquidsound Says:
Jan 9, 2008 - The first clinical study into the effects of using tobacco in all forms was made in 1761 by London physician Sir John Hill. He linked cancer with tobacco use and noted the high incidence of cancer of the nose in snuff users. If you really want a good reason to STOP smoking, go and visit smokers in a hospital dying of lung cancer and see if the "pleasure" is worth the price!

Jan 9, 2008 - Segue now to the "medicine mans" tent; He encompassed doctor, lawyer, psychiatrist, and spiritualist.. Now we all know - With doctors, you ought to get a 2nd opinion Lawyers - low on the integrity totem pole Shrinks - are these people sane to keep track (wonder why they let YOU work it out! Are they even listening?) Spiritualist. ok.. maybe there - but for that, their profoundness had to be from the trip THEY were on.. Wasn't any ordinary smoke that got them there...

Jan 9, 2008 - Could you try and look less perfect in your future videos? While I was watching this video for support in quitting smoking, my wife came in and accused me of "looking at hot chick stuff" on the internet. She said your make-up is too perfect. Anyway, in support of Phaedress, I've found that the first cigarette is awful after a significant period of quitting. If that cigarette is so satisfying to you, then you do need to be really careful never to do it again. I'm on day 5, using the lozenge.
