Indie film blending aspects of Noir and Avant aesthetic. Max is a short fictional story about a boxer and his girlfriend. The movie was filmed in Berkeley, CA in 2007 in one evening. None of the actors have any acting experience, and all of the dialog was improv only going odd a script of ideas. Written, directed and filmed by me, Johnny Darko, the film was shot on a Canon XL2 and edited with FCP 5. Soundtrack supplied by breakbeat artist FaltyDL with tracks off of his album Beat Lumber, and an unreleased track by Stegosaurus Rex.
