Jan 19, 2008 - Ugh... I never enjoyed this performance; not a great way to go out from competitive skating. I don't know what's worse: catching his blade or the drama of him finishing and the kiss-and-cry. He was always a ham, but a very talented ham. I'll miss his skating.

Jan 20, 2008 - He was one of my favorite male skaters. I give him props for finishing the program despite the pain he was obviously feeling. I loved his exhibitions more than his actual programs. He really is "Bowman the Showman". Very very talented. He will be missed. RIP

May 31, 2008 - I got soo freaked out when he tripped; It was very unexpected. And I didn't that think that he was in too much pain until the end of his program when he did his flying camel and tried his back spin over a fiew time again and again. At the very very end when he was limping off the ice, is when I finally realized how much pain he was actually in at the time. I agree with: genuinecap, he was SO talented and will DEFFINITLY be missed. <33
