atlg8or6137 Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - "Now I'm off to screw my teenage wife, and take my nap." -Fred

svanacreon Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - He had me until the end. we need not sacrifice our blood for others without a congressional declaration of war! Its still "we the people" right?

K8EEE Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - McCain would never even be in the running without his friend & decoy Fred siphoning votes from Huckabee. Personally I think Republicans are all stupid anyway, look, they put Generalissimo Chimpolini in power for Christ's sake. But Huck, as big of an idiot as he is, had a slightly more populist/less pro-rich schtick than your usual BushCo type GOP and so they needed to make sure an establishment type one, so they called in Fred, an old buddy of McCain's....believe it!

freakforruss Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - arlg8or6137l, She's 40 years old, you complete and utter retarded excuse for human being.

elperropatron Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Translation: "Your calling me out on the lame media-blaming copout hit the nail right on the head and I have no response, so I'll just throw a tantrum and call name call."

elperropatron Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Yeah, they make a lot of money, harming the nation for short term financial gains by their employers

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Fred's a good man and he has my vote. Period. Those of you who don't like and are here have to answer the question, "why"? We are here because we fear our man's about to bow out and we are not happy. But why are yo Fred-bashers here?

atlg8or6137 Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - So over 20 years difference in their ages is good- you're a freak!

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - haven't respected a candidate as much as I have Fred Thompson. He was criticized for a lack of personal ambition for the Presidency by the same people (media and citizens) who are cynical about politics. Blessed with a candidate who didn't personally want the Presidency but chose to run out of a sense of duty and concern for his country (recall George Washington who also didn't want to be President) ... Republicans decided he wasn't ambitious enough.

freakforruss Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Ohhhhh.. good one atlg8or6137, I am a freak, a freak for truth, honesty, integrity and decency. What the frig do you care if they are 20 (actually 25) years apart? HE IS A LEADER IN EVERY RESPECT, A TRUE CONSERVATIVE WHO WILL KEEP THIS COUNTRY SAFE AND FREE AND THRIVING. Even with a 25 year younger wife. Keeps him spry.

delburd Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Fred Dalton Thompson #44 I will vote no other in 2008 I will write him in if need be! I am a Fred Head and Fred Heads united stand behind Fred Dalton Thompson!! Fred nor his Supporters will endorse another candidate we will not dilute the GOP with a RINO so stand strong for America and Vote Fred Dalton Thompson!!

freakforruss Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - I appreciate your comments, trombettas, don't listen to that idiot drivel coming from drmark1995, I've tangled with him, waste, total waste of time and space. You are exactly right and so is delburd, Fred is our ONLY choice.

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - It is a fair comparison ... both men did not have personal ambition for the Presidency. The point being ... that NOT having such ambition does not mean you will not be a good leader. Of course Fred T. is no George Washington. There was only one George Washington.

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Ahhh .... your Pastor said. Then it must be true. Stop relying on your shepherd and get your own news.

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Fred has announced his departure from the race. Goodbye Fred and thank you for your time in the race. We will miss you!

trombettas Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - if you can't find the specific quote on the Internet .. and you choose instead to trust what someone else told you ... then you really are doing yourself on helluva disservice. The quote you allege you were told about .. seems ridiculous, or at least taken out of context. Bottom line is that Fred doesn't attend church. He's probably a Deist more than a Christian. Good for him.

drmark1995 Says:

Jan 22, 2008 - Yup, I can see you getting your "freak" on for Dead Fred, and the "integrity and decency" exemplified by his years as a fornicator. Personally, I like my leaders to at least try to live the values they push, not brag about fucking women outside the boundaries of a committed, marital relationship.

woodnwheel Says:

Jan 24, 2008 - I did some digging and it would appear the quote was in fact taken out of context. Do a search for a Washington Post op-ed column by Michael Gerson entitled "Callous Conservative." That's not the origin of the quote, but it should help clarify things -- although, remember, it is an op-ed. Bottom line: Fred was answering a question about whether he supports PEPFAR, President Bush's initiative to deal with the spread of AIDS in Africa. I'll let you read Gerson's column to find the answer.

maggie1715 Says:

Jan 26, 2008 - Where's your proof that he committed adultry? and your personal dislike of someone does not mean he is not the best leader of this country.Your views have no basis except you simply have another choice for President and you have that right,so back off and respect ours unless you have something that could possibly prove our choice otherwise.

maggie1715 Says:

Jan 26, 2008 - A vote for Fred in the primaries is a vote for conservatism and a secure position if it goes to a brokered convention. If not then vote for the nominee there's much difference in the femaining field they are still Republicons.I ll hold my nose and vote for one them if I have to.

drmark1995 Says:

Jan 27, 2008 - Didn't say adultery, said fornicating, which is sex outside of marriage. Fred is "noted" 2 have been quite a lady's man. The paraphrase quote, which is out in the world for quite some time now, is that Fred said he chased many ladies & many lades chased him, & he let himself & enjoyed getting caught by them. Maybe he didn't mean sex, but I doubt it. Do you care to enter into a conversation of how as a "conservative" this is "okay?"

delburd Says:

Jan 31, 2008 - As long as Fred Thompson is on your ballot there is choice

delburd Says:

Jan 31, 2008 - sounds like a yuk yuk Huckabee supporter duh why hasn;t gomer pyle dropped out he won't win hes Mccains Stalking Horse Cliton+Carter+Huckabee = McCain RINOs God help us we need a true Conservative !!!

maggie1715 Says:

Jul 4, 2008 - This is truth folks. Better listen again.
