Nov 25, 2008 - ya seriously, it was a muay thai roundhouse, they just got a heavier man to throw it. i wonder what kind of numbers they would get from crocop.
BJJMTF Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - lol a 100 lbs girl or a 185 guy, who cn ht harder based on pure science?
reddupo Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - yea i thought the same thing when they said it, but in all honestly, a muay thai kick is not going to be the same as an mma fighter just because a mma fighers mechanics will be different from positioning that allows them to be able to counter takedowns
BJJMTF Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - depeding on the MMA fighter's striking aility, they wont kick properly because the fear of being taken down, so they do not turn their hips all the way to allow as much power as possible. Same in some Thai boxing fights, they aren't turned all the way because those kicks are to test the target. Ether way you look at it, It's a round house using the shin. Hitting a paed, is all the same, hitting as hard as you can means turning your hips properly. everything but his left hand being low was good
Bloodstar6078 Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - Yes, there is more than one episode. The first one I think is the one with all the different fighters (Kung Fu, Karate, TKD, Muay Thai, Boxing, etc). This one was about mixed martial arts.

Nov 28, 2008 - muay thai uses the shin tkd uses the foot bas is using the lower tibia in between those 2
makedon2008 Says:

SoJuDaMaN Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Hi, to wife and children, if any of them are still awake.
BJJMTF Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - LMAO! I hope you know tibia s the NAME OF THE BONE! and lower tibia in normal english would be the lower part of your shin... LMAO!!!!!!! they confused you ROFLMFAO!!!!
BJJMTF Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - LOL if "the shin" was the name of the bone, lower tibia is nothing more than your lower shin... they just used the name of the bone rather than saying shin.
bleachjerry Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - in muay thai the the foot is not kept straight so the nerve is more or less dead for the moment. bas foot is pointed.his kick is not a tkd kick nor a muay thai kick. all mma fighters kick diff, that is the point of "mixed martial arts" none are better than the other it just dependes on the person kicking, in this case...its one of the best fighters of all time bas rutten
DeathByMercy Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - are you kidding me?
MAKEDONIENA Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - hahahah i make tae kwon do HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHO'S THE IDIOT NOW??
BJJMTF Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - LOL why are people saying my comments are bad, go learn the human body, the Tibia is the shin bone
BJJMTF Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - I see you've never trained with MT trainers from thailand, because you use your shin to kick your foot ends up wraping around the target, kinda like it cups it if you hit the target properly. if you ntice his foot is pointed at the start but after impact it's not anymore, why? because he's pulling it back, no point keeping it pointed, you just bounce back after hitting the target. it's a MT kick, and the bone is the shin bone. he kick is the same, now if you go andd argue differen styles of MT
BJJMTF Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - I can give you examples of MT fighters who are kicking with their foot strait, and retracting not strait, go watch some videos of MT fights, Watch Buakaw's high lights, and don't tell me his foot isn't strait. MAN go learn what MT is.
BJJMTF Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - on top of all I said, when you straten your foot you expose the shin bone more... -_-' wow
ReCell02 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - they should have bring cro cop for this one!
abahawas Says:
