This is a message to Scientologists- not to the leaders of this cult, not to the ones benefitting from others' losses. *** This is a message to the ones who truly hold this faith, and these ideals. Please note that what we have done so far to protest the Church is not an attack on your personal beliefs, and it never will be. Though your leaders may tell you differently, we are defending your right to believe. We are defending your right to have faith without fear, and hope without judgement from your peers. We are defending your right to have knowledge of what your leaders are witholding from you. Scientology ruins lives, and tears families apart. It was written by a man who did not believe in the things he was claiming. L. Ron Hubbard was a racist, and a bigot. He did not care about people, whether they were SPs [Suppressive Persons], or in his "church". He was only interested in making money off of the people who were entrusting their faith to him. L. Ron Hubbard has died, but the cult continues on. The Church relies on misinformation given to their lower tiers, and absolute dependency from those who trust them with their faith. They strike at those in need, and cut away their emotional supports until the person has nowhere else to turn but the Church. They will strip away your family, and your friends. They will strip away your money, and your rights to have hope without loss. They will drain you until you are a husk, and then discard you, for they are not concerned with your wellbeing. Anonymous is. We do not protest the church for our own sakes. We do not endanger our lives, and our identities, for ourselves. We are protecting you. We are showing you that there is a network of people in this world who can give you hope, without loss. Faith, without fear. Friends and peers, and family. You can trust people without losing power over yourself. That is what Anonymous is about. We are not an elite group of people. We do not lose our identities by agreeing on a belief. Nor do we revel in being "unique" or "better than" our brothers or sisters in humanity. We are individuals united in the universal knowledge that people are special. People are deserving of respect. You are Anonymous. The Church of Scientology is not interested in your redemption. The Church is not interested in your health, or rights. Anonymous is. We are fighting for your rights. We are fighting to make you safe. Do not shun the people, take up our banner. Be prepared to fight tooth and nail for yourself, your family, your friends, your wellbeing, and the wellbeing of your neighbor. That is Anonymous. That is the right of every person in this universe. I understand that many Scientologists never witness the abuses firsthand and may be very skeptical of the information. The information is out there, and unfortunately most of what is reported is completely true. I support Anonymous and I support your right to believe what you like. I do not have any issues with your religious beliefs. I am only worried about abuses within the COS.
