This is the theme song of a Hong Kong animation McDull, Prince de la Bun in 2004. This song was composed and performed by singer-songwriter The Pancakes (aka Dejay Choi). She is a prominent figure in Hong Kong independent music. She won the 24th Hong Kong Film Awards for "The Best Original Film Song" in 2005. McDull, Prince de la Bun did not perform well in box office but it gained enthusiastic acclaims from the critics' circle. The film was named as the Best Feature Film in 2004 Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards. The depth of depicting the collective memory and the sociological issues after year 1997 impressed the audience and evoked some discussions on cultural identity of Hong Kong people in academic circle. This film is indeed highly localised as if only Cantonese people could understand the wordplay and the cultural background. But the vivid colour and the style of graphics also gained the attention of overseas film festival organisers.
