Aug 20, 2008 - I thought Daniel's dress was gorgeous. I loved the pattern. I can't help but wonder how much they base their choice on who is going to capture more viewers. A couple times Lupe faded in the background and ya forgot she was there, however Marla didn't as much. I think both should've listened to Tim... it is after all a competition and either one could have listened to his input without losing who they are as designers.

Sep 2, 2008 - I completely disagee that the choices are based on viewers ratings. The idea is absurd. In fact, if they tried to do that, they would lose viewers; people know a good thing when they see it. They would be so disgusted that hard work and creativity was not being rewarded. Lupe's dress was disgusting. Santino's was the best; it showed originality and good workmanship. End of story.

Sep 18, 2008 - I don't believe that. They don't even have access to that kind of information as the shows are being aired. They DO have to listen to 'input from producers' but I take that to mean that the producers tell them what contestants are saying and doing. So, if somebody says "I don't want to be here" or if one designer has to work with another and won't cooperate with them, these things are said. I've vever felt that a designer was cheated out of a place in the final, based on talent alone.
