I was born in Moscow in 1960. My dad was an aspiring artist; my mother at the time was nineteen. Since childhood I knew I would be an artist, looking at my dad who was getting up whenever he wanted, and depending on the mood either went to work or to his art studio or jus stayed home and built toy ships. Well, certainly I drew as well. I was introduced to drawing at nine. Perhaps, in vain, I think. Still I was able not to dry up under the helpful hands of teachers, didn't give in to alien influences. Thank God I was able to save my individuality and after the Art school #1 and after the College of 1905. Thanks to U.C. Zolotnikov, V.A. Geraksevich and Avisian that they let me enter my road when my guide for long time was my father Leonid Mikhailovish Korsakov. Well and as far as the vast plains are concern -- that was Maksiutin. That's how we tramp together already for 25 years in parallel paths. Before 1990 I was working in Easel drawing, like my Dad; paper, distemper... During "Perestroika" no one needed graphic works any longer. I tried canvas, oil. Quickly I found my language, my style, theme, that let me tell about everything. "Child's Play" -- this theme is how I am known for 20 years. I painted and am painting many portraits. In 19XX came the new theme "The unicorn." For a while I couldn't find the language for it, but then it also came. Now this theme is mine.
