Yes, we do not celebrate them but tolerance is a part of Islam (although people make that statement seem false - it is not) Also, Islam did get its roots from Judaism and Christianity. May 30, 2008 - (COntinued) I am very tolerant about all religions/cultures... but non-muslims are not the most tolerant people themselves. I have been judged by many people for being Muslims. In my city non-muslims tried to protest against us building mosques, Islamic bookstores, and giving schools days off for Our Islamic hoildays (Keep in mind the fact that the schools in my city are 75% muslim).... Yes I know there are many intolerant Muslims unfortunatly, but there is intolerance among all mankind!
