For example you could consider Dimmu Borgir to be Black, Satanic, Melodic Black, or anything else you can think of. It doesn't matter what subgenre they can be catagorized as, all that matters is whether or not they make great music.

Sep 5, 2008 - i am a big fan of Dimmu Borgir and all i can say is his voice and the rest does not fit in this song, it's so disturbing (CoF is better in this song) but Dimmu Borgir without those nice and beautiful keyboards are a bit boring, but the rest of the albums and songs are really fuckin great since their beginning... HAIL DIMMU BORGIR!!!

Aug 29, 2008 - Yeah, everyone hates nu-metal. Or at least real metalheads do. However, I like Dimmu Borgir - but they're not black metal. They're not melodic black metal. In my opinion them and Cradle of Fail are nothing more than symphonic metal.
