Feb 3, 2008 - i agree with maiminbetty, granted eden was my first with megan on broadwya, she performed it more like a concert than a broadway show. though i havn't seen shoshana, iv'e heard alot of her, and her tour days on are pretty well, idk. it seems to me all the elphaba's are trying to outdo eachother. my personal opinion is, julia murney, and stephanie j block, who i saw in december, have the best portrail of elphaba.....personal opinion

Feb 4, 2008 - i agree with maimingbetty as well. it's like she doesnt have enough confidence to hold a simple note so she goes insane with the riffs. it really takes away from the character i think. SJB is my personal favorite because she doesnt have to try to impress the audience...it just happens. power trumps riffs everytime. it seems to me alot of the elphabas are trying to turn musical theatre into a diva contest.

Feb 4, 2008 - Call me crazy but i am in love with Eden. Im a vocal music person anyway, so i think i look for an amazing voice. And trust me her acting isn't lacking and she is a wonderful elphaba. Sho was my first elphaba and i liked her i did. But i went into Wicked knownin how amazing Eden's voice is and loving her for it. I dont think its a lack of confidence, i think its just more or less look what i can do. Becuz, so many people can't sing the way she does. But i think i may be biased cuz i want 2 b her
