Nov 20, 2007 - I think it's hard to gauge really how much weight we want to lose bcuz years ago when we were at a certain weight we looked a certain way. But we're all getting older so that weight might not look the same on us now. If that makes any sense. So maybe tho you're goal is was to lose a little more... if you're happy and healthy.... ya know? *hugs* =) J.

Nov 20, 2007 - I say it is more important to feel good than to have a certain number. :) do what feels good and you can't go wrong. :)

Nov 20, 2007 - Oh I am soo there. Ihave hit many of my goals I had first set. O my journey. But the mojo has been lost for about 3 months now. I have gained about 3 pounds since then. Not much. But enough to know I have to get something under control before more creeps back. Just keep active and healthy. Do waht makes you feel good . I know I am feeling not so energenic and all that jazz so its tie to snap it up a bit.

Nov 21, 2007 - You are right on the money! I actually took my measurements (at this weight) when I got married 8 years ago and today, after two kids, they are completely different. My belly still bothers me a bit but overall, I'm comfortable with the way I am now.

Nov 21, 2007 - Losing mo-jo huh... Well it does happen. When it happened to me in late 2000 I took up running and shifted my focus from my diet to getting stronger at running. It has always been a struggle for me to focus on both. Have you noticed? Good goal for the 5K. I am not sure I have a time goal.

Nov 21, 2007 - I am glad to hear that I am not alone! I think the thought of complacency (sp?) scares me the most because I know how quickly 1 pound every month can add up. I like the idea of doing what feels good - healthy eating & exercise always help keep up the energy. I also like your idea of the snug jeans & trying them on every two weeks . . . .

Nov 21, 2007 - I am trying to find balance between doing the personal training 2 days a week and getting back to running. I don't know where it is all going to fit in or what plan to follow. Last time all I did was run. I will figure it out though. Anyways... would a bet re-juvenate your mojo?

Nov 21, 2007 - I really think you and Stacey need to form a support group and post videos on the "maintenance struggle." It's a whole new issue, isn't it? You were so used to losing weight, now you have to maintain. Identity crisis! You look great, btw. :)

Nov 21, 2007 - I just watched your video again and I was thinkin. Everyone (including my earlier comment) was basically saying "do what feels good" And I'm wondering if we're letting you off the hook too easily. Hmmmm... they say the last 20 lbs is the hardest to lose but is it really? Or do ppl just give up when they're 20 lbs away bcuz they've come so far that they settle for being that close. Just somethin to think about.

Nov 21, 2007 - I think that committing ourselves to new challenges is a good way to keep the mojo flowing. So, signing up for the 5k sounds like a good plan to me. Is there a fitness class you might want to take? I know I would like to, but still feel a bit akward about it. I just joined a gym with classes included in the membership, so I'm using that as motivation right now. Glad you got over the flu ok. ;0)

Nov 20, 2007 - You know... even when I was heavier than I am now... I still climbed in those things LOL. I'm such a big kid. But I understand what you're sayin about not bein the "fat mom". If you're happy with where you are... and you look awesome btw... then chill out for a little bit just stay at where you're at now and when you're ready to pick it back up at least you won't have gained.
