I created orchestral arrangements of Maison Ikkoku pieces, available at my site, www.omohide.com. The sheet music for this simple piano transcription was done by me and is available on http://omohide.com/category/sheet-music/ . The song is "Kanashimi yo Konnichiwa", or "Hello, Sadness", a nostalgic, pleasant but bittersweet tune which opens "Maison Ikkoku" for a great deal of the series.
