Dustbowl was extremely intense, 2fort was crazy nuts action. However, the cliffs were very fun indeed. Having to dodge snipers and whatnot. You are probably right that it isn't appropriate for TF2, but it was definitely appropriate in TFC, just my $0.02.

I am not sure about 360, I don't have one. I hope they have new stuff too. But not new stuff to the point where this game becomes less balanced and not fun. They're bringing out a new mode soon (Goldrush I think it's called).

Apr 14, 2008 - Nar, it's from Red vs Blue :P It's called "Blood Gulch Blues (Bloody Mix)", it's one of the remixes of "Blood Gulch Blues" which can be found on their official soundtrack (by Trocadero), and on the intro of the Season One DVD. Thanks for your comment :)

Jun 15, 2008 - i think that making badlands a cp map wasnt the best decision just because they need more ctf maps but i am glad that they made it work. i always got lost in badlands on tfc because of the sheer complexity of my surroundings. tf2 badlands is much easier on my mind. it's not my favorite map, but i'll be glad to play on it.

Aug 27, 2008 - Badlands used to be my most played tfc map....after 2fort. A lot of people don't seem to care for the tf2 badlands...but I thought it was pretty refreshing. I'd like to try it out as a ctf. by the way, Razor, what was the music you used for the well video. I sounds very familiar.

Aug 27, 2008 - I personally like Badlands in TF2, however I never played TFC so I hadn't compared it. It's a nice map, but the final capture point captures rediculously fast... The song is "Blood Gulch Blues (Bloody Mix)" by Trocadero. You may have heard it from the introduction to the Red vs. Blue DVDs. This track isn't available on the OST but downloadable on the Trocadero website.

Aug 27, 2008 - ^I don't think I heard the music on those. I don't think I've even seen those. Driving me nuts. About Badlands though, I think what bothers people about badlands is that it's too busy or something. It can be difficult to know what's going on where. People are really spread out. It doesn't have that tight defense factor. I think that's why the last point goes so fast. It's also hard to get an even fight on that map. I think most people rather stick to the dustbowl type CP map. I dig em all.
