A reply to a video by Ashley (icecoldbath) called "Smash Identity Politics: with a hammer or a hair straightner." I could not stop laughing while thinking about the title of Ashley's video and had to make a response. I think the message of Ashley's video is genuine and a great one: come together, and work together for peace, equality, and understanding. The song is "If I Had a Hammer" by The Weavers. PS - I just noticed that in the past three videos I made, including this one, I am wearing the same black and white border-line top. There must be something about this top that wants to make me record!

Jan 7, 2008 - Well my dancing moved the camera since the battery on my phone was low and I needed to have the phone charging as I recorded with it. However, the hair iron wire and the phone charge wire got tangled making the camera move as I dance! I am glad you got a laugh out of it!

Jan 7, 2008 - Ha ha' thanks! ^-^ The shirt is awesome, I got it at a store called "Hanjirou" here in Osaka. The hair straighteners were ones my boyfriend got for the apartment. This way whenever he is over he doesn't have to worry about using a hair iron. It's acctualy nice to have two and of two different sizes. Also, because of our height difference we can use the same mirror at the same time! Match made!

I love dancing but I always dance like such a nerd! Oh well, I still dance none the less. Japan's an awesome place though! You should come an visit sometime! I might get to NYC within the next year to visit famiy! Maybe we coud grab a cuppa' next time I am in your neck of the woods.
