Jan 28, 2008 - LMFAO, and that's Dick Clark driving him...hahaha...
mitmfan Says:
Feb 1, 2008 - Could you post the end part of Bob's final episode where Bob has a party in his dressing room only to be reminded that he needs to leave so he can attend the Daytime Emmy Awards? This was only shown on the primetime re-airing of Bob's final episode on June 15.

Feb 7, 2008 - The Military specials were great shows. Thanks for letting us relive them! More clips wouldn't hurt.

Feb 26, 2008 - Was he hosting the Daytime Emmys that year or was he presenting or was he just up for one? Watching the last part, I'm getting the impression that he possibly hosted. I remember watching this special too, but I can't remember after that. Thx in advance.

Feb 28, 2008 - Will there be A Navy Special with Drew Anytime soon?
mitmfan Says:
Mar 1, 2008 - No, but there will be 5 more primetime specials; once a week on Fridays.

Mar 7, 2008 - What do they do when they do stuff like that? Thats Amazing!

Mar 21, 2008 - Isn't dick clark the guy who had the stroke? Can't think of who that was. He always hosts the new year celebration on CBS or something. I think bob hosted it that year.
Godzillaman Says:
Apr 20, 2008 - Who bids $38,000 on all trips? That's weird.
nextbarker Says:
Apr 23, 2008 - I forgot, excluding new years, that wasn't the last time Dick made an appearance before his stroke, was it?
gameshowguy2000 Says:
Apr 30, 2008 - Dick Clark's the guy who had the stroke, and his new year's celebration is always on ABC, not CBS.
gameshowguy2000 Says:
Jun 23, 2008 - Since December '04.

Jun 23, 2008 - And he also announced on the Davidson TPIR as well as the current version (as sub-announcer).
ShaDeed329 Says:
Jun 25, 2008 - Heh, that game show would've been by Mark Goodson Productions, FremantleMedia North America, and Sony Pictures Television.
NDW85 Says:
Sep 1, 2008 - Dick Clark: "Compliments? I'd rather have a tip." That line cracks me up! Anyway, I remember watching parts of that primetime special and I think Burton Richardson did a fantastic job announcing. When the staff began auditioning announcers during season 32, I was hoping that he or Randy West would be the choice for TPIR's permanent announcer. Not that I am offending Rich Fields. I think Rich is doing good on the show but I will admit that he is not as good as Johnny Olsen or Rod Roddy.
WhiteHatBobby Says:
Sep 27, 2008 - A few notes: an all-military episode was taped September 10 for a November 11 broadcast (Armistice Day). This was actually tricked. A regular taxi sent Barker from CBS Television City to a point, and then a scene was taped in New York later.

Oct 5, 2008 - RIP BOBBY 1923-2008

Jan 17, 2008 - So funny at the end when bob goes to New York in 20 seconds.
