Jan 20, 2008 - It's an intentional dev glitch. The devs had a cartoon animation death sequence which like also crash bandicoot had - the character would be in the air for a few seconds waving their arms about and screaming then they would suddenly drop to their demise! Great stuff really! ~2PS~
