My first trip of the New Year was to Didcot in search of King Edward I on a move to Didcot Railway Centre, however we had no evidence of times and 'The King' didn't turn up whilst we were their. Another down point was the HSTs, Due to Swindon having engineering work all HST services were hourly and throughout the day only 1 service went non-stop! A few freight turn't up including: 66187 and 66069 T'n'T on an Engineers train, 66587 4O14 Ditton-Southampton, 66540 4O27, 66189 6O26, 66567 4O54, 60051 6B33, 66505 4O02, 66162 4L39 and the suprise of the day GBRf/Metronet class 66 no. 66719. Plenty of Voyagers, Adelantes, Units and a few HSTs feature. 2tones are included 66162 is a great 2tone considering it's at a whistle board! Just to let people know, just incase you didn't already, FGW wonderful rein of the Valenta engine is over, 43002+43003 dragged to Brush yesterday by a class 47. The days at Didcot will NEVER be the same!

Jan 7, 2008 - my loacal main line goes though warrington and the speeds 90 though there + theres a added thriss of the ews yard down the road and recently theres been a lot of 37s down there the other week there was 37425 37411 and 37415 and 37405 and theres normaly tampers and stone blowers in the siding parked up
