Mar 6, 2008 - Hi there, William Duerkop Snr (the old bloke in the video..My grandfather) came to Aus after jumping ship in Adelaide. He apparently was in the German Merchant Navy. I am the little girl in the video. I put this on so that my cousins can have a bit of reminiscing. This is the only Duerkop line in Australia. Regards, Michelle. Mar 8, 2008 - If you mean the ancestry I can go back 4 generations further than my grandfather -His parents were Adolf Christian Duerkop and Louistine Elisabeth Krummacher (3kids), Adolf's parents were Karl Wilhelm Duerkop and Margaret Gesine Maak (4 kids), Karls parents were Heinrich Conrad Duerkop and Marie Elisabeth Fischer (8kids) and Heinrichs father was Johann Duerkop mother unknown (2 kids known).
