This one wasn't too bad, thanks to his really simple attack pattern. First, we have the Dark Elf, which uses a pathetic combo of level 2 spells, Wind and that attack that turns you into a pig. Since he is of no threat whatsoever, I use this battle to set up the characters for the dragon. The Dark Dragon hits hard, but he only alternates between a physical attack and Dragon Breath. With Cid on Berserk, I could simply have Tellah heal whenever needed and have Yang give him an Ether now and then. Cecil deals pretty good damage, so I decided to let him fight this time too. I did one small mistake in the battle, but nothing bad came out of it. Let's see if you can figure out what it was. Cecil: level 1 Tellah : level 21 Cid: level 20 Yang: level 14

Jan 17, 2008 - Is the name "Cid" present in almost every Final Fantasy? Lol.

Strifezilla Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - was the mistake you healed cid instead of tellah when he was low on hp?

GarlandTheGreat Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - Congratulations! 10 bananas are headed your way! It's really annoying that the default target is Cid. Haven't really gotten used to it yet :P

GarlandTheGreat Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - Yes, every Final Fantasy except the first one.

Jan 17, 2008 - What exactly does Bacchus do? I haven't played FFIV in a long time.

Jan 17, 2008 - eert! nevermind, actually watched the rest of the video. I seriously need to stop making premature comments. It's the equivalent of someone's little brother asking ÖMG WATS GONNA HAPPN NEXT at a movie theater. I will say that Dark Elf/Dark Dragon is the most pointless boss ever though, considering he is an ELF that transforms into a DRAGON. =\

Jan 17, 2008 - Can you cast weak and kill him in one hit in this version?

Strifezilla Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - lol thanks =]:p Are you using a guide for this or have you made your own strategies?

GarlandTheGreat Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - I make my own strategies. I never use guides for challenges, except for boss data like HP and weaknesses.

MoogleBoss Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - Great job! Is it easy to prepare for bosses? As in, getting enough money for restorative items and up-to-date equipment?

GarlandTheGreat Says:

Jan 17, 2008 - I haven't really prepared much for bosses until now. I did some item shopping a while back, but I still haven't run out of anything. As for equipment, I really can't afford the up-to-date stuff, so it's all old. I really have no idea how to get money in this game, so I make sure to lose as little as possible in random battles.

MoogleBoss Says:

Jan 18, 2008 - Is there anything valuable you can steal once Edge joins the party? I just remembered I know very little about stealing in this game. I suppose you could earn money when Dark Knight Cecil was in your party, but I guess that'd make the boss fights less fun and the challenge less genuine.

Jan 23, 2008 - Is it possible to defeat Dark Elf earliest possible with a LL party?

May 24, 2008 - Man, I love the way the music kicks up at 3:20!

Jun 1, 2008 - This is my favorite part in all of final fantasy 4! I love how all hope is lost at the start. Then a song enters the cave and the party's power returns. Great! Good video too! I like seeing low lvl fights.

Jul 16, 2008 - I love how everytime Cecil swings his Legendary sword I can just hear the slash saying "justice"
