Jan 6, 2008 - Korroloka tunnel is the shit, Buburimu Peninsula is a hassle to get too but youve got the advantage of being usually the only pt there but I guess to answer your question, its because people have been doing it for years now its sorta ingrained first thought. Though as many horrid pts as Ive had in the dunes, ive had some amazing ones too (one of them i went from 11-19 in one 6 hour sitting) but theyre rare, try googling "ffxi campsite" for campsitaurus its a guide to almost all lving spots

Jan 15, 2008 - The maze of shakarami and korroloka tunnel are greats places to train from 14-16. the only reason why people prefer these areas over clippers in the dunes is because there are always gobs out there willing to kill you.

Jan 31, 2008 - i love Dunes. i will say why it brings back good time of when i partyed from pld 11-20 in 1 day then i remaber how i got 20-25 in island the next day in the same party btw that next day then i got 25-30 the next day then 30-37 that day and like 3 weeks down the round i was like 50 pld but around 60 it slowed down a bit.

Feb 4, 2008 - lol I rarely party at the Dunes if I can get away with not doing so. Well I go there to level, but not to party. The best way to get from 10-25 is to either ask a friend or make a deal with a friend to PL you to that level. I got my drg from 10-25 with like... 2 parties and neither of those parties got me a single level. Me and another friend of mine duo-ed with another linkshell mate PLing us. It's fast and it awesome. Best way to get through the Dunes and Qufim.
