Aug 19, 2008 - well being a tuba player and a sousaphone player i cant tell you that there is no comparison sure its still a tuba but a sousaphone sux they all sound like a piece of crap.i much prefer marching with my besson 700 which is heaver than a sousa but much more enjoyable cuz you get such a nicer sound sure sousas are easier to march with but if you cant march with a real tuba u shudnt march at all and all the lighter instrements need to stop complaining about there arms hurting cuz try carying a tuba
