They couldn't be better than the actual version, because they decided to put the other lyrics in it, therefore they can't be better because if Zep thought they were then they would have most CERTAINLY put them in the final product. BUT, they didn't so the older ones must not be as good as the newer ones. At the end of the day, Stairway to heaven is still an incredibly beautiful peice of music, and nothing will ever change that.
