Jan 19, 2008 - wow im not gonna lie, that was the noobiest fight i've ever seen. Any ways at the beginning you should of just spammed cyclone on the priest and try to get your hunter to kill him. Man me and my druid, (im a lock) would of tore through that team ez w/ all the cc the priest wouldnt get a heal off.

Jan 30, 2008 - Im going to add some comments hurray! Personally when i see a none frost mage or even a frost mage with a healer i like to dps them over draining. Getting your hunter to CC the healer with a frost trap and u time bashes cyclones that the priest can be inactive for 20 ish seconds. A Hunter has no trouble against similarily geared mages so thats no issue. if the intial burst doesnt work, then switch to drains ofcourse.

Jan 30, 2008 - Dude, I LOVE constructive feedback: THANK YOU! :D Usually with my hunter, we didn't try the "cc the healer" strategy (which starts off this video), but it worked incredibly well so I'm trying it with that pairing and some of my other "twos" a bit more. If you can coordinate it right, it's certainly effective! I think one of the reasons with druid/hunter we find ourselves focusing the priest so much..

Jan 30, 2008 - (continued from below) is because a priest can mana drain a hunter or druid dry pretty quickly, so we have to watch ourselves (especially since I have a few pieces of feral gear, which have no mp5 and low int). But it's interesting hearing your thoughts on mages/healers. What teams do you find you and your partner have the most trouble with? I know warlocks are my personal bane. :-/

Jan 30, 2008 - In the beginning I noobed it up with the moonfire spam, oh god yes. My problem there was that I was out of diminish returns on feral charge/bash/cyclone, so there was nothing else I could do to stop the priest from healing. :-/ WHat I SHOULD have done was to switch cyclone to the mage (since he can't be healed when he's cycloned) and then switch back to cycloning the priest after 3x cyclone casts on the mage. Hindsight is wonderful like that. >_>

Jan 30, 2008 - (continued) one of my 2v2s is actually druid/warlock. We only started the last week or two, so we've only been in the 1600-1700s, but I'm enjoying it alot. There is a lot more sustained CC potential with that than hunter/druid, I'm finding, and fear is a lot more annoying for teams to deal with.

Jan 31, 2008 - very true, however hunter druid is the strongest team past 2000 bracket as most top teams are hunter druid. But druid and dps class(war,rogue,hunt,warlock) are all great but require different playstyles and have there own weaknesses and strenths, truth is find the one you like most imo druid warrior = ezmode

Feb 10, 2008 - It was on DR on the priest. In hindsight: I should have started cycloning the mage until DR was up on the priest so the mage didnt' receive heals. :-/ Do you have any videos of your own matches, perchance? ^_^
